Logistics that Speaks Human
The Product
Exagion Routing introduces a natural-language interface for an intelligent routing system that allows users to:
- Reoptimize routes quickly as exceptions occur
- Describe routing constraints dynamically in plain English
- Use all relevant information from Transportation Management Systems and surrounding software ecosystem when producing routes
- Explore tradeoffs interactively rather than accepting a single “optimal” plan
- Interrogate optimization outputs in order to obtain summaries, plots, explanations
Our Mission
At Exagion, our mission is to revolutionize logistics and supply chain management by bridging the gap between complex optimization models and real-world decision-making. We empower our users to navigate the challenges of rapidly evolving constraints with an intuitive natural-language interface and tight integration with the logistics software ecosystem.
Technology
Optimization models (solvers) are at the center of all vehicle routing systems. The core problem addressed by our technology is the gap between formal optimization models and real-world operational decision-making in logistics and supply-chain environments. Across commercial, industrial, and defense settings, planning problems exhibit:
- Rapidly evolving constraints (traffic, asset failures, connector outages, regulatory changes)
- Heavy reliance on tribal knowledge
- High cost of errors or delays
- Poor alignment between user mental models and solver interfaces
Our LLM has been trained to handle real world routing constraints described in plain English with an emphasis on avoiding hallucinations. We also have a flexible api which allows us to use all relevant information from other software systems including Transportation Management Systems. Auditability is built in allowing users to interrogate optimization outputs in order to obtain summaries, plots, and explanations.
This approach transforms routing optimization from a static solver into a decision-support tool that better aligns with how humans actually plan and adapt to rapidly changing constraints.
Use Cases
Fast re-optimization to handle routing exceptions in realtime
Users can explore routing tradeoffs interactively rather than accepting a single “optimal” plan
